About Jordan Ross Schindler

JORDAN ROSS SCHINDLER is a chronically nostalgic writer/producer from the Philly suburbs who broke into the business in 2015 when he co-created CRUEL INTENTIONS: THE ’90S MUSICAL. Since then, CRUEL has played Off-Broadway, recorded an original cast album, toured nationally, toured Australia, won “Best Musical” at 2019’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, played a sold-out season on the West End, and will embark on its first UK tour next year. After co-writing and co-executive producing NBC’s CRUEL INTENTIONS sequel pilot in 2016, Jordan joined the writers’ room for the fourth and final season of E’s THE ROYALS. Currently, he’s a producer on Netflix’s viral sensation MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS and developing a coming-of-age dramedy for MGM TV/ESCAPE ARTISTS.

Based on the iconic film starring Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar, Cruel Intentions: The ’90s Musical pulls you into the manipulative world of Manhattan’s most dangerous liaisons: Sebastian Valmont and Kathryn Merteuil. Fueled by revenge and passion, the diabolically charming step-siblings place a bet on whether or not Sebastian can deflower their incoming headmaster’s daughter, Annette Hargrove. As the two set out to destroy the innocent girl — and anyone else who gets in their way — they find themselves playing a perilous game with only one rule: Never fall in love.
